ABOUT ME
Hi there! I'm Abbey, and I'm a junior at Northwestern University studying magazine journalism, gender & sexuality studies, and integrated marketing communications. I love writing about anything and everything, but I really geek out when I get to report on either pop culture or health. I also love editorial design, so I've been dabbling around with that lately, too.

I'm currently an editorial intern at the Chicago Reader, where I cover the local arts and culture scene. I also gained experience reporting
on entertainment last summer, when I interned at MTV News.
Prior to that, I worked as a collegiate correspondent for USA TODAY and as a reporting intern for the Herald Times Reporter in Manitowoc, WI. I also freelance here and there for publications like Reader's Digest and Bustle.com.
When I'm not writing or studying, you can catch me performing with my hip hop dance team, getting lost in the depths of YouTube or playing with my two lovely kitties!
